This prayer speaks so powerfully to the energetics - both the challenge and the invitation - of these intense times we are living in. With the rawness of the ascension process that the Earth and humanity is going through, it can be all too easy to mistakenly worry that the intensity of your wounds and traumas (or the wounds and traumas of this world) are distracting you from the dreams you are here to realize + the soul-work you were born to do.

This most recent Scorpio eclipse season was an intense death + rebirth portal for many and it's just now come to a close, as we move into the Sun Sign of Sagittarius on 11/22/22, the final astrological turn of the wheel for 2022.

As I've said many times before, “eclipses are wormholes of consciousness evolution allowing for individuals and collectives to make quantum leaps in healing, awakening growth and ascension” - but no one said quantum leaping or going through wormholes was a gentle ride!

So if you feel as if a gnarly storm just blew through your life, flipping you inside out, upside down and all around - then you are not alone.

Slowing down is how you help your body to fully heal. Slowing down is how you help your nervous system to unwind and how you integrate energy shifts. Slowing down also helps you to process and release trauma. Over time, slowing down signals to the body that you are safe and allows you to live more of life from a place of “rest and digest” (parasympathetic nervous system) versus “fight versus flight” (sympathetic nervous system).

Eclipse seasons happen every year. Astrologically speaking eclipses occur on a Full or New Moon and happen in pairs or in threes. I find it helpful to think of the weeks surrounding all the eclipses as a “season” and each eclipse as its own “portal,” with the heightened energy encompassing a couple days around the actual event itself.
